Team photo of the 1975 Toledo Troopers.
The Toledo Troopers won seven consecutive national championships from 1971 through 1977 in a now-defunct professional football league made up of female players
The Troopers often shut out opponents and won by 30- to 40-point margins. The team was the Women’s Football Foundation Hall of Fame’s first inductee and has been recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio as the “winningest team in professional football history.”
